Overview

Académie Football Club Peuple d'Aigle Noir, known as AFC.PAN, is a youth football academy in Limbé, in Haiti's Nord department. Its letterhead carries the year 2022 alongside the club name. The academy is based at Haut-Levé, rue Las Casas, Limbé, and can be reached on +509 3843 8892 or +509 4844 2952, or at afcpanaiglons7@gmail.com. It registers 125 players with the Foundation across three groups, U11, U12 to U13, and U15 to U18. The squad on file was born between 2009 and 2016. Alongside its own age groups the academy runs a school football project, taking sessions into schools in agreement with each head teacher so that training does not cut across lessons. The club puts its purpose in a single line: form disciplined, talented and responsible young people, build a competitive team, and represent Limbé with pride at national and international level. Its motto is to form today the champions and leaders of tomorrow.

Mission & Vision

AFC.PAN sets out to train young people through football, developing them technically, physically and mentally while teaching discipline, respect, responsibility, solidarity and fair play. The academy wants to support pupils in both their sporting and their personal growth. Its school football project rests on five arguments the club makes for the game: better health and physical condition, stronger discipline and respect for the rules and for the team, growth in self confidence, leadership and a sense of responsibility, the discovery and support of young talent, and less idleness and risky behaviour among children. The club says its players are being prepared to defend the colours of any team, at home or abroad.

What They Have

• 125 players registered with the Foundation across U11, U12 to U13 and U15 to U18, born between 2009 and 2016 • Complete registration records, with a photograph for 123 of them and a date of birth and playing position for all 125 • A programme of one to two training sessions a week, with exercises set to the age and level of the players • Qualified coaches running technical, tactical, physical and educational workshops • Friendly matches and inter school competitions where they can be arranged • A school football project delivered in agreement with school leadership so sessions do not disturb lessons

What They Need

• Kit for the U11 group, medium shirts and shorts for 33 players • Football boots. The rosters record a size against every player, running from size 30 to size 45 • Goalkeeper gloves in sizes 8 and 9, noted against the goalkeepers in the U11 and U12 to U13 lists • Passports. The registration lists mark nearly every player as not holding one • Photographs for the two players still without one
